About me,

 

My name is Annett Westlake, I'm a self taught artist from Germany. 

At the age of 21 I came to Canada where I was inspired by Canada's great outdoors, wildlife, and native art.

I entered several art exhibitions, where I received awards.

I have been teaching visual arts at the Dance Express Art Academy and have been building sets and props for the year-end-show and for a local theatre group The Queensville Players. 

Some of my paintings are on sale at the Georgina Art Gallery in Sutton.

I translated a children's book "Jori, the little Troll" by the author and my cousin

Marita Sydow Hamann from German into English, and illustrated a children's book

"The Christmas  Choice!" by the author Fred Phillips.
